Whitelist and User Agent

Not passing the mobile user agent profile to web sites who need it

Content aggregators complained that they needed the mobile user agent header to present mobile specific content. This was not passed to them when the customer went through the WTE.

As a short-term tactical fix, Vodafone introduced a whitelist for made-for-mobile sites.The WTE does not render sites on the list and passes the user agent. Requests to be added to the whitelist should be sent to mobileinternet.whitelist@vodafone.co.uk
